Recent Happenings

Our relationship with Wenzel Prazision GmbH of Wiesthal, Germany is going great. To date we have delivered 25 SCEPTRE Systems to Wenzel, which are being installed on their CMMs and delivered to customers around the world, including England, France, India, Singapore, China and Taiwan. In the United States, SCEPTRE-equipped Wenzel CMMs have been installed at Creative Technologies, Diamet and Molex Inc.

On the way back from Quality Expo, EMD installed a Legend at Windfall Products Inc. in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, which will be used to measure powder-metal products for the automotive industry. We also recently delivered a Legend to Borg-Warner.

On the Upgrade Front: We've done a SCEPTRE conversion/upgrade of a SIP CMM for AlliedSignal. We have also done a SCEPTRE conversion/upgrade on a Brown & Sharp MicroVal CMM and delivered it to Aerosource in Connecticut, where it will be used to measure small engine cylinder heads.
